Associate Scientist - Pharmacology/Toxicology (Needham, MA)
Overview:
Summary of Position:
The Associate Scientist performs basic analysis of samples from preclinical studies.
Position Responsibilities:
- Preparation of reagents for assays
- Conduct a variety of assays (e.g., ELISAs) for our current ongoing programs
- Transfer of assays and methods documentation
- Order and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies
- Working and performing assays under GLP regulations
- Perform other additional job related duties as required
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Ability to follow and accurately execute existing SOPs
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent self-management skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education/Experience:
- BS/BA degree in a biological science
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in ELISAs, tissue culture
- GLP experience a plus
