Precision Targeted Immunotherapy is the combination of synergistic technologies that may lead to important clinical breakthroughs. Our understanding of the immune system and the role it plays in preventing and influencing disease conditions has grown tremendously in the past decade. This new information allows for the rational design of new therapeutics and treatment regimens that maximize the beneficial aspects of the immune system, and counter its negative elements that are exploited by cancers and pathogens. Celldex is building a portfolio of programs that include vaccines, therapeutic antibodies, and immune system modulators. These innovative programs are designed with specific consideration of current treatment options for patients to maximize the clinical benefit in combinations with their standard treatments.

• APC Targeting Technology™: this is a new class of vaccines based on our proprietary antibody-targeted vaccine technology that is used to generate an immune response against cancer or other diseases.
• Therapeutic Antibody Programs: these are based on the well validated approach to using antibodies that target to cancer and other diseases directly or through interfering with critical interactions between the patient and the disease.
• Immune System Modulators: these include drugs that activate or suppress specific parts of the immune system, including such molecules as Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonists that can activate patients’ innate and adaptive immunity.
